How do you clean the eco-filter?
After unscrewing the top of the filter, the rings have enough room between them to rinse easily.
Will it fit in my sump? How big is the filter?
The filter is 4 inches in diameter, and the media cup is 3.5 inches in diameter. Without the media cup, the filter is 8.75 inches and with it 11.5 inches.
How does it work?
Water goes through the small divots in each ring, leaving the bigger debris molecules behind.
